Add Service

The Services page is where you set the cleaning services and pricing that you offer. The page is divided into parent service types (ie Dry Clean, Wash & Press, Other, etc)   which correlate with the mobile app, as well as a Fees, Preferences, Racks, and Rewards  sections.

For the purposes of adding a new service type or individual item, we'll be working with the Services tab. 

To add a new parent category of services (ie Dry cleaning, Wash & Fold, etc) the steps are:

1. Select setup from the left hand side menu
2. Select the Services button
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Prices tab
4. Click on to the Add New Service Type menu
5. Add the name of the new parent category to the NEW TYPE field, and then detail the first item to be added to the category in the remaining 
6. Click Save

To add a new individual item to an existing service category the initial steps are largely the same, but we'll be working with an existing service category instead of a new service type.   As such you'll want to:

1. Select setup from the left hand side menu
2. Select the Services button
3. On the prices tab select the parent category of the service we'll be adding
4. At the bottom of the section for the given catgory you'll have several blanks that will define the service
5. Enter the name of the new item in the SERVICES field
6. Enter the cost of the item in the PRICE field
7. Pieces specifies how many individual items are part of the services (ie a shirt would be 1 piece, but a suit might be 2 or 3 pieces)
8. The TURNAROUND field is where you'll set the default number of days it takes to clean the item
9. If making use of price lists, they can be set in the PRICE LIST field, if left blank it will default to price list 1
10. Click Save

In the below example video we'll add a 3 piece Suit to the green cleaning category.
